You engaged in a Bitcoin transaction but you or the recipient don't see the funds yet. What happened?

You sent out Bitcoin and the recipient has yet to receive the funds
When you send out BTC from your Bitcoin wallet, you will see a brand new transaction appear in your Transaction History. It should look like the following:

The transaction history will give you 3 pieces of information that is vital to the transaction's status:
- Transaction ID / Hash (the most important piece of information)
- Mining Fee amount
- Recipient's public address
When you check your transaction on Blockcypher, you will be able to identify the current status of your transaction.

You are supposed to receive Bitcoin but have yet to receive them
Somebody sent you Bitcoin and you checked the transaction on the block explorer. The amount of confirmations is already at 6+; however, you do not see the updated balance or transaction history in your wallet.
